A Few of our Services
Parenting Support & Supervised Visitation
Stepping Stones provides parents and children the opportunity to visit one another in a safe and supervised environment when children are placed in out-of-home care. These services provide parents with the skills necessary to parent, manage a home or maintain suitable housing as these conditions affect child safety.
Crisis Support Services
Stepping Stones provides intensive, short-term services to children and adolescents who present with thoughts, emotions and/or behaviors requiring additional skilled professionals to intervene to stabilize their current situation and prevent the need for a higher level of care.
Mentoring Services
Stepping Stones provides offers both one-on-one as well as group mentoring services designed to foster caring and supportive relationships with youth. Mentors provide guidance and support to address behavioral, social and emotional issues. Mentors can be involved in a variety of activities with the client with a focus on social skills development, peer relationship building, personal care, goal setting and achievement, etc.

Milwaukee County Zoo
Stepping Stones is happy to announce that we are able to offer discounted Milwaukee County Zoo tickets for our clients during supervised visits to support meaningful time together. (Sorry, this is not open to the public).
Our agency understands that with the rising costs of rent and food, recreational activities may not always fit into the family budget.
Families are encouraged to pack bag lunches, ensure phones are fully charged for plenty of photos, and enjoy a fun-filled day at the zoo.
For added excitement, clients can also request a Scavenger Hunt from their Coordinator to make the experience even more engaging.
